Our Programs

The Geneva Preschool is one of only three preschools in the Greater Johnstown Area to meet the rigorous licensing criteria set by the PA Department of Education in order to become a Private Academic Preschool. We are the only academically-certified preschool in Johnstown that strives to establish a foundation for spiritual growth and Christian values. Further, we keep our class sizes small with a maximum student-teacher ratio of 12:2.

Classroom activities are designed to provide growth for your child’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual needs and development. Daily routines always include both group and independent learning experiences. Research has proven that music and art enhance the learning process, so they are incorporated into our activities daily. As our students discover more about themselves and their environment, it is our hope that they learn to love their school, their teachers, and their classmates.

Our 3-year-old program is designed for children involved in their first-time school experience. A giant, but gentle step between home and school, this program focuses on social skills, active listening, and learning through play. It also provides an introduction to academics, including writing, letters, colors, shapes, and numbers.

Schedule: 9:00-11:15 -- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
Tuition: $1,170/year ($130/month for 9 months)
Eligibility: Children must be age 3 by September 1. We also expect children to be potty-trained, although they may wear a pull-up to school (we do not change dirty diapers).

Tuition: $1,485/year ($160/month for 9 months)
Eligibility: Children must be age 4 by September 1. Children should be potty-trained, although they may wear a pull-up to school (we do not change dirty diapers).

We offer private tours instead of an open house, which allows you the freedom to pick a time that works for your schedule and guarantees one-on-one attention so we can answer all your questions in a manner that is not overwhelming for you and your child. Please feel free to give us a call to set up a time for your personal tour.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ ”
